original StarCaster® Text-to-Speech
System.
StarCaster® RIS is the latest ATC automation
solution from STR-SpeechTech Ltd. Designed for military
ATC to automatically create, monitor, and broadcast Range
Information Service messages, this PC-based, fully automated
system is effortless to use and makes more efficient use
of valuable labour resources.
The StarCaster® RIS System offers a completely
packaged product to the aviation industry. The text-to-speech
functionality eliminates human transcription errors while
enhancing flight safety and reducing flight crew workload.
The StarCaster RIS System provides a
high quality, fully automated replacement to manually-produced
RIS broadcasts, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The system
is designed to automatically create range information
messages from textual data and then produce voice output
for the RIS broadcasts, according to user specifications.
