STR introduces StarCaster ATIS 5.0:
a new product that builds upon our award-winning StarCaster technology.
With its predecessor already a leader in the aviation industry, StarCaster ATIS 5.0 now provides new functionality and even more automation,
meeting the need of Air Traffic Controllers for rapid and safe creation of reliable ATIS messages.
Unlike any other ATIS system, ATIS 5.0 is a productive and efficient tool that is truly unique for today's ATC operations.
Other systems require controllers to break from routine for up to 10 minutes to make a recording each time
a new ATIS is needed, but StarCaster ATIS generates a reliable broadcast in about 30 seconds. StarCaster's
ready access to key information reduces disruption to the controller's routine, while
minimizing the risk of human error. This is supported by a user-driven design that makes rapid generation of ATIS broadcasts a reality.
